Every Wednesday at Winford Amsterdam we organise a club from 13:00 to 17:00 as an after-school activity. Our program will be diverse, educational and fun!
A typical day with us:
13:00 - 13:30 Snacks and indoor play/games or homework help time
13:30 - 14:30 Workshop (Science related)
14:30 - 15:45 Snack time and indoor/outdoor play (weather dependant)
15:45 - 16:45 Afternoon chill out session (mindfulness, yoga, book reading, artwork)
16:00 - 17:00 Pack away / Home time
Each week we have a different science topic to experiment with. This term we will begin our new 'Senses' Program.
Starting in September we will have a term of 14 weeks for the Winford Bilingual stream and 8 weeks for the Winford Dutch stream enrolled to follow the Dutch holidays. We do need a minimum of 8 kids to start this fantastic project.

EXTRA CURRICULAR PROGRAM
Science as an after school program provides a great opportunity for kids to continue learning and exploring scientific concepts after their regular school day has ended. These programs are designed to be fun, interactive, and educational, so kids can continue to develop their love of science.

SCHOOL PROJECTS
Voor scholen, kinderdagverblijven en bso's in en om Amsterdam verzorgt The Science Camp workshops. We bieden een dagdeel vol spannende experimenten en geweldige proefjes. We kunnen rakketen laten lanceren, een vulkaan laten uitbarsten en een tornado in een fles maken. In science met kinderen draait het erom dat niet alles te voorspellen is. We praten over onze verwachtingen, kijken naar de proef en bespreken waarom de uitkomst is zoals hij is.
Aantal deelnemers
Er is geen maximum aantal deelnemende kinderen. Maar bij meer dan 10 kinderen wordt er op de actieve hulp en ondersteuning van de leraar/leidsters gerekend.
